Down But Not Out

After taking care of my wife the best I could for a week and getting her off to a business trip to Atlanta I woke up this morning with influenza. I feel horrible, what's new, and do not know how long I will be out but I will not be posting for a bit. Lisa may post from Atlanta, she has a great idea for a post so check back and talk about it when she does.

Alan, sorry to hear about your illness. You're having a rough year! I pray you will recover quickly.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. - James 1

Feel better! Getting the flu sucks bollocks, but you should be feeling right as rain again within the next few days.

Okay, it's been a week. How's Alan feeling? Looking forward to more on baptism if you've got it in you. Later, Bro!

I hope you feel better. I know that the flu has hit hard this year, so my prayers go out to you. I would like to ask that you join an online prayer chain for my mom. You can get the story here http://www.mycornerstonetrio.com/?p=44 Thank you and God Bless.

Thank you for joining the prayer chain for my mom. I know that God will do 1 of 3 things. 1.He will heal her completely. 2.He will make her better, prolong her life or 3.He will take her to Heaven with Him. But I know also that God said that we can ask Him and like Jesus prayed in the Garden, "not my will, but yours be done."
