What if I wrote a Blog, and nobody read it?

This is really going into uncharted waters for me. Putting something on the Internet is the type of thing only those technonerds do. But after months of listening to me lament the state of the church today and, in particular, the state of preaching, my wife said, "Why do you always complain about how bad everyone's theology is to me but you never do anything about it?"

When I asked her what she thought I should do about it, she said I should start a blog. So, here I sit, blogging away for the first time, with absolutely nothing to say.

Well, it's a start.

Alan,

It is great to see you starting to make a difference for His kingdom!

Oh my, you Reformed men are all alike! I appreciate so much your dividing the truth and taking a stand, but one wife to another, yes, the complaining can get old. :-) Onward and forward to blogs, coffeehouses, and patient discussions with the unbeliever and professing believers. May the Lord be pleased to let your efforts be 'heard'. Frankly though, I would rather hear complaining than live with complacency.

Oh Alan.... I am so proud of you and the work you are doing for our Lord. I for one will be reading it. Love ya and think of you and your family often. Blessings always, Jeanne

I'd know how you feel, that's "what if." But keep in mind, that more people read than comment, especially if you're a nuisance like me and email your posts to friends at church who never comment.
