Context, Context, Context!!

It never fails to amaze me that people will so often willfully disregard the first rule of hermeneutics when it contradicts what they want to believe. I have had a couple of conversations recently about this very verse and thought posting this video a good idea.

Good post. The music was a bit mellow-dramatic, but hey- who cares?

The music is always melodramatic on Mark Kielars videos.

Thanks for correcting my spelling! Ha! I stole this and put it on my facebook and myspace as well. Drop by sometime and check out the conversation. Be nice and gentle (but bold) though-- ; )

right, so "all" doesn't mean "all' just like "until" (ews) doesn't really mean "until", at least as we moderns understand the term (cf. Matt 1:25)? The Catholics pull this stunt to argue Mary's perpetual virginity.

I think you have a strong case I just wonder how it works in other cases.
